Successful Service & Troubleshooting of Mitsubishi FX2N PLC – Another Satisfied Client!

On 10th March 2025, our experienced engineer team was deployed to a facility within the food processing ingredient industry to carry out a crucial service involving a Mitsubishi FX2N PLC system.

The initial complaint involved a motor brake that was not holding as expected, potentially affecting downstream operational efficiency and safety. Our engineer began by safely backing up the PLC program from the FX2N CPU — a best practice step we strictly follow to ensure program security before any intervention.

Upon thorough inspection and program analysis, it was identified that the motor brake parameter value was set too low (20), which was insufficient for optimal braking. After carefully adjusting the motor brake value to 70, the issue was resolved effectively.

A full test run was carried out, confirming that the motor brake was now functioning correctly, restoring the reliability of the system and giving the client peace of mind in their automation process.
